It is a comprehensive synthesis of the current global status of our planet’s amphibians.

이 보고서는 지구상에 서식하는 양서류의 전 세계적 상태를 종합적으로 다루고 있습니다.

Following on from the analysis of GAA1 data in the book Threatened Amphibians of the World , this report presents an in-depth analysis of the GAA2 data and details the threats amphibians are currently facing.

세계의 멸종 위기 양서류 (Threatened Amphibians of the World) 에 수록된 제1차 세계 양서류 평가 (GAA1) 데이터 분석에 이어, 이번 보고서는 제2차 평가(GAA2) 데이터에 대한 심층적인 분석을 제공하며 현재 양서류가 직면한 위협을 상세히 설명합니다.

The report highlights the urgency at which we must now act in order to halt the current extinction crisis.

이 보고서는 현재의 멸종 위기를 막기 위해 지금 당장 행동에 나서야 한다는 시급성을 강조합니다.

It also identifies opportunities around which coalitions of governments, organizations, and individuals can come together to conserve these amazing creatures and their habitats at scale.

또한 정부, 기관, 개인이 연대하여 이 경이로운 생물들과 그 서식지를 대규모로 보전할 수 있는 기회와 방안을 제시합니다.

Two tools were presented in SOTWA, developed from the GAA2 data to guide conservation efforts: Threatened Amphibian Landscapes (TALs) and Highly Threatened Genera.

또한 이번 보고서에서는 GAA2 데이터를 바탕으로 보전 활동의 방향을 제시하기 위해 개발된 두 가지 도구, 즉 ‘멸종위기 양서류 서식처 (Threatened Amphibian Landscapes, TALs) ‘와 ‘고위험 멸종위기 속 (Highly Threatened Genera) ‘을 소개합니다.
