Parties interested in amphibian conservation are invited to read and contribute to FrogLog. Publication in and access to FrogLog is free of charge (to access past issues please visit the Archives section).
Originally launched in 1992 as the IUCN SSC Declining Amphibian Population Task Force’s (DAPTF) newsletter, FrogLog has changed considerably over the years, morphing into more of a digital magazine format. Striving to continue the important work of the DAPTF, FrogLog became the IUCN SSC Amphibian Specialist Group (ASG) newsletter, then was published jointly by the ASG and the Amphibian Survival Alliance (ASA) from 2015 to 2022. FrogLog has now reverted to being produced by just ASG, but the focus has not changed – we will keep on releasing stories about amphibian conservation from all parts of the world, providing a method for the amphibian conservation community to share their work.
From the 2025 we aim to release FrogLog twice a year, in around May and November, but all the articles will be posted in an early-view format on our website once accepted. We ask that those interested in submitting an article please review the Author Guidelines to ensure that their submissions conform to FrogLog’s format.
